Rates can vary depending on the season, the number of participants, the remoteness of the fishing areas, the logistics entailed by the expedition and the number of days of your stay.
Fresh water
Big peacock bass - Payara
Fishing expeditions for large peacocks bass peacock-bass involve going deep into the Amazonian basin and assume, as a minimum, 4 fishermen for a 9-day trip of travel including 6 full days of fishing, departing from Bogota.
Each fisherman sleeps in a spacious individual tent at the camp set up on a sandy beach of the river.
Two fishermen per Tracker boat powered by an out-board motor and our selected local guides will take you to the best fishing zone.

Picuda - Peacock bass in lakes
Whether you choose to fish the powerful golden picuda or the aggressive peacock-bass, our fishing expeditions to the heart of the Colombian andes mountains are organized for group of 2 fishermen or more, on the basis of a 7 days trip and 4 Full days of fishing, departing from Bogota or Medellin. If time is allow, Pesca Colombia can organize a trip combining river fishing (picuda) and lake fishing (peacock bass).
After 4/5h by car from Bogota or Medellin, participants stay in a comfortable hotel on the water or near the fishing areas.
On the river, you will fish for picudas with our selected local guide, using a drifting boat and prospecting along rocks and pools in the tailwaters of pristine rivers.
On the lake for peacock bass, two fishermen share a Tracker boat powered by Hp and electric engine, and are guided by our local pro team who know like the back of their hands the lakes, the best fishing areas and the best lures and techniques according to weather conditions

Hotel on your arrival in Bogota or Medellin, if necessary / private transport with driver to the fishing area / hotel room per fisherman in a comfortable hotel / 3 meals with drinks during the fishing periods (soda, water, juice, beer).

Salt water
Pacific coast
Fishing trips on the Colombian Pacific coast are organized on the basis of 3 fishermen or more for 8 days including 4 full days of fishing, departing from Medellin.
After a short plane trip to the Pacific coast, accommodation is in a comfortable hotel in town or on a nearby beach. In the early morning, fishermen board a wide 27ft boat powered by a 200Hp engine and having a wide fore-deck.
We prospect rocky coastal areas and seek offshore for all kind of feeding frenzy !

Hotel in Medellin / domestic airline ticket / on the pacific coast : all road and river transport to the fishing camp or hotel / complete guiding according to your wishes / hotel and meal during the fishing journey / beverages and drinks (water, juice, soda, beer) / laundry clothes.

From the beautiful and historic city of Cartagena de Indias, Pesca Colombia offers some daily « à la carte » fishing trips. Wether you want some serious offshore early morning popping or jigging action for tuna or GTs, or to explore the nearby mangroves around with fly or midweight spinning tackle chasing snooks and tarpons or, why not to have a lunch break on the island… We can even take you streetfishing in the Old Town !

Booking and payment
Pesca Colombia will confirm your reservation upon receipt of a deposit corresponding to 50% of the cost
of the trip.
The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
